Apple has enabled 25GB of Storage for MobileMe users who migrated to iCloud.Com. However, due to beta stage, the process is currently possible only for developers. But we have been told at WWDC keynote that iCloud would offer only 5 Gb of storage to keep the content sync in all devices. It seems that Apple has mixed storage for both the services, that is, iCloud & MobileMe and extended it to 25GB. Perhaps, this criteria applies only to iCloud users who have come from already existing service – MobileMe.
You may not need to pay any extra amount for the additional usage. We have no confirmation from Apple as yet. So, it could be possible that Apple will revert back to 5GB once all MobileMe users shifts to iCloud.Com at the end of June 2012. If you are developer, you can checkout the migration process here. In addition to it, FindMyMac is already in beta which can be enabled from preferences in iCloud.Com. Apple is expected to roll out all of these features with iOS 5 final release this fall.
